Dr Kiran Shrestha
Dr Kiran Shrestha is a GP, Skin Cancer and WorkCover / Pre-employment Doctor. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), and further completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and a Diploma of Child Health (DCH) from the University of Sydney (Usyd).
After relocating to Australia, he worked in rural areas for more than 5 years. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and is a skin cancer trained doctor (not a dermatologist), with a particular interest in skin checks, diagnostic dermoscopy, skin excisions, and skin cancer prevention and management.
He is interested in all aspects of general practice with specific interests in skin cancer medicine, geriatrics, chronic illness, managing work injuries and pre-employment medicals. He is keen to establish long-term relationships with his patients. He speaks English and Nepali. In his spare time he enjoys watching soccer, cricket and spending quality time with his family.
