General Practice Consultations
Depending on the complexity and type of consultation, and at the doctor's discretion, visits may be bulk billed or a private fee may apply.
Telehealth Consultations
To be eligible for a telehealth consultation with Dr Shrestha, you must have been seen in person by Dr Shrestha (or another doctor at the practice) within the last 12 months. Telehealth is strongly recommended as a follow-up consultation rather than a new consult — new problems are best assessed in person.
Missed Appointments
If you cannot make your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so the time can be offered to another patient. A missed appointment fee may apply for appointments that are not attended or cancelled without adequate notice.
Skin Checks & Procedures
All skin checks, biopsies, excisions, skin grafts and flaps are privately billed.
WorkCover
Billed at the SIRA WorkCover rate for approved claims. Please speak with your employer and insurer and obtain a claim number before your appointment so the visit can be billed directly to your insurer — not to you.
Pre-employment & Railway Medicals
A set fee applies for pre-employment and railway medicals (Categories 1, 2 & 3). Please book through reception so enough doctor and nurse time can be allocated.
